Your books stay yours.

Your books, reading positions, highlights, notes and narration never leave your iPhone. Morrow has no accounts. During the beta we keep the email you sign up with, and the app sends anonymous usage counts that you can turn off.

In the app

Your library stays on your iPhone. The books you add, where you are in them, and your highlights, notes and bookmarks are stored only on your iPhone.

Narration stays on your iPhone. The voice that reads your books lives on your iPhone. No text or audio is sent to a server, and Morrow works without a connection.

No account, no advertising, no tracking. Morrow does not identify you, show ads, or follow you across other apps and websites.

Books can't reach the internet. Morrow blocks books from loading anything online, so a book can't report that you opened it.

Anonymous usage counts

Beta versions of Morrow send a small set of anonymous counts so we can tell whether the app works: for example, that a book was added or failed to open (with an error code), that narration started or stopped with an error, how long a reading or listening session lasted (rounded), which voice and speed were used, and the app version, iOS version and iPhone model.

These counts never include the titles, authors, file names or text of your books, your notes, or anything that identifies you. They carry a random number made when Morrow is installed, so we can count how many people come back; it changes if you reinstall. Turn usage counts off anytime in Settings → Share Usage Data.

Joining the beta

When you sign up on this website we keep your first name, your email address, what you told us you read, and when you agreed to hear from us. We use them to:

• add you as a tester in Apple's TestFlight, which sends you the invitation (Apple receives your name and email for this);
• email you about the beta and the launch: a handful of messages, each with a way to unsubscribe;
• reply when you send us feedback.

This list is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website, and our email is sent through an email service provider. We never sell or share it with anyone else. Ask us and we delete it.

TestFlight and crash reports

As a TestFlight tester, Apple shares with us your name, email, the device and iOS version you test on, crash reports, and any screenshots and comments you choose to send. Outside TestFlight, if you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may pass us crash reports. They never contain your books' text. Apple's handling is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

This website

This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies: no analytics, no ad trackers, no outside fonts. Cloudflare, our host, processes requests to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The sign-up form uses your connection's address briefly to stop spam and does not store it.

Backups

If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, your Morrow library is included, as your other app data is. Narration audio is left out; Morrow doesn't need it backed up.

Deleting

Deleting a book in Morrow removes the book from your iPhone. Morrow keeps a private reading history (how long you read or listened to each book) on your iPhone for your own statistics; deleting Morrow removes everything it stored. To remove yourself from the beta list, use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to us.

Children

Morrow isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above, and email beta testers about anything significant before it takes effect.
